Other Information
Our boat and camper (rv) storage is within walking distance of Lake Raystown’s Shy Beaver Boat Launch (about a mile away). During the summer months the parking lot at the boat launch can become full. If you don’t mind the small hike, you could park your boat trailer at your storage space and walk back to the boat dock. (Please note that our understanding is if you cannot park in a designated parking spot at the Raystown Lake boat launches, you may be ticketed.) Parking at our facility may be the difference between getting on Lake Raystown easily or driving around until you find a boat launch with parking available. (More boating (along with fishing, swimming, water skiing, and lake time) and less driving… always a good thing!).
May we also suggest that by utilizing the boat and camper (RV) storage, you can save wear and tear on your boat trailer or camper. We are the proud owners of multiple trailers and we know how much brakes, lights, and wheel bearings cost. Not to mention the cost of tires, grease, and the electrical issues that seem to plague every trailer owner. Less wear and tear means more money for that new fishing rod or camper accessory.
We live and work on the premises and while we can’t babysit your property 24/7, we will alert you if we notice something isn’t right (like your boat cover is loose or a camper canopy is not secure). This is a courtesy that you might not get at other storage facilities.
We truly love the Lake Raystown region, and we want everyone to be able to experience the area. We aim to provide great service to our storage space tenants so you can enjoy your time at the lake or camping in the Raystown area. Please contact us if you have any questions. If you are camping or live in the area, we also sell firewood. During the summer months we also sell produce (vegetables and berries) and farm fresh eggs (nothing beats farm fresh eggs and new potatoes made over a campfire!).
