I really like so much about these gloves. First, I’m so grateful that this company makes gloves in size small. As a woman beekeeper, it seems that so many beekeeping companies only make clothing items in men’s sizes, which many times means Medium and up. It’s nice to have gloves that fit! And, this company also caters to the very large handed individuals, as well!
Second, the quality is great. I like a leather glove, but often they are stiff. This leather is soft and will not require a break in period. The backs of the gloves have a really cool logo and a mesh over a thick grid padding. I really like the cuff detail. It is elastic and has an adjustable cuff closure using hook and loop (Velcro). The cuff stays close to my wrist and prevents bees from “sneaking” inside. The gloves are very comfortable to wear.
I use the gloves when moving hives or working with aggressive hives. These gloves are a definite improvement over the canvas gloves I used to have. – Bren
