What we have here folks is a rare picture of the elusive Appalachian Mountain Cat.  She is ferocious and brave; only making appearance when spotting humans with food.  Do not approach her as her claws are like needles and will rip into bare skin when she desires people food or attention (not really… we said that for drama… she’s actually very sweet).  She is a one of a kind!

 

(And, she’s up for adoption.  One of many strays at the homestead.  Please PM if interested in adopting.  We named her “Sneakers” and there are other Appalachian Mountain Cats of various colors/patterns if interested.  Also, a few kittens that were born under the porch.)
