Shallow Gardening Trays

I plant onion seeds in the first quarter of the year, and use these trays. I like that they are shallow and have drainage ridges making them perfect for onion seeds. The trays are very rigid and well made and can be used repeatedly. The shorter size is my favorite aspect. In the past, I’ve used a standard 1020 tray for planting onion seeds. The biggest problem I had with them was the inability to support the middle when lifting. This would cause the 1020 trays to arch slightly and break along the sides. However, in these trays there is very little flex when lifting – even when filled with potting soil. Excellent trays at a good price.

I’ve been doing maple sugaring every year for many years. I am impressed with the quality of these taps. They are a good stainless steel and the tube metal is much thicker than what I’ve used in the past. They are also longer than most stiles that I’ve used in the past. The head is 1-7/8” and the back is 1-1/4”. They are very smooth with no seam lines. The stiles (taps) come with hooks in case you want to collect with buckets. The hooks are well made and good grade. The pack comes with a brush for clean out, too. These are premium taps that I expect will last many years. The price point is higher than other taps I’ve owned, but the quality is definitely better than other stiles I’ve owned.

Quality Burlap with Very Even Weave

I love the rustic look of burlap. I use it in the garden and for decoration. It has a simple, old-fashioned appeal to me. This burlap is well made and is made of jute. The weave is very even. I would recommend this brand of burlap.
