Homegrown Whole Grains by Sara Pitzer

Homegrown Whole Grains by Sara Pitzer is a great book for anyone getting started in grains.  The author provides information on barley, buckwheat, corn, amaranth, quinoa, spelt, emmer farro, einkorn, millet, oats, rice, rye, and wheat.    The unique feature of this book is the author not only includes how to grow the grains, but also how to harvest, store, and use the grains.  Recipes are sprinkled throughout the book.  This is a great book for anyone new to growing grains.  It simplifies processes and is designed to get you started without overwhelming you with loads of detail.
