We have grown this kale for decades and is the ONLY variety of kale we grow. It is an heirloom variety. Here in Pennsylvania it grows even in very cold weather. Kale is wonderful in salads. We also add a nice leaf to sandwiches for a little extra nutrition and crunch. -Bren
