Us gardeners love our relationship with dirt.  We love growing vegetables during the growing season.  We love sharing the bounty of goods we produced.  The amazement of seeing a seed become something nourishing for ourselves, family and friends gives us great joy.  Vegetables are to us the greatest thing since sliced bread.

So, why does Old Man Winter have to ruin our fun?

Microgreens are the answer!  These little veggies are easy to grow, simple to harvest, delicious and nutritious.   No more waiting until the spring thaw to get dirty and enjoy our planting and harvesting.

Winter Greens Are Easy!

  • Sow indoors in seed tray or container
  • Maintain even moisture and do not allow growing medium to dry out
  • A heat mat can aid in speed of germination
  • After seeds have sprouted, place seedlings in a sunny south-facing window or under a grow light; water regularly
