We have grown the Detroit Dark Red Medium Top Beet for many years and they consistently perform well. It is a tasty beet, although I would recommend not leaving them get too large. I don’t find them as tender and tasty when they get too big. They are an heirloom beet, so if you are into saving seeds, this is an ideal variety. -Bren
